No tienes necesidad de correr en busca de Dios, porque tú mismo eres Dios. Dios reside en tu corazón. Él es la fuerza motivadora que todo lo impregna. Ten firme fe en esta verdad. Como el fuego en el fósforo, la Divinidad está latente en el ser humano. El fuego en el fósforo se hace manifiesto cuando se le frota contra el costado de la caja. De la misma manera, cuando el Jivi (individuo) contacta a Deva (Dios), brilla esplendorosa la llama de Jnana (la Sabiduría).

You have no need to run about in search of God, for, you are yourself God. God resides in your heart. He is the All-pervasive motive force. Have firm faith in this truth. Like fire in the matchstick, divinity is latent in man. The fire in the stick becomes manifest when it is struck against the side of the box. So too, when the Jivi (individual) contacts Deva (God), the flame of Jnana (Wisdom) shines brilliantly.

En el Bhagavad Gita, el Señor Krishna ordena a Arjuna que se considere instrumento de la Divinidad. Todo ser humano es realmente un instrumento de Dios. Como tal, debe cumplir con sus tareas, dejando los resultados a Dios. Los seres humanos tienen que hacer sus tareas; el éxito o el fracaso están determinados por la Divinidad. No te consideres el hacedor. Desarrolla la convicción de que el Espíritu que reside en tu interior, te está dirigiendo y te está habilitando para actuar.

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna calls upon Arjuna to regard himself as an instrument of the Divine. Every human being is indeed an instrument of God. As such, he should carry out his duties, leaving the results to God. Men have to do their duties; success or failure is determined by the Divine. Do not esteem yourself as the doer. Develop the conviction that the Indwelling Spirit in you is directing you and enabling you to act.

La vida es una larga peregrinación por el áspero y tortuoso camino de este mundo. Pero con el Nombre de Dios en sus labios, el peregrino no conocerá la sed; con la Forma de Dios en su corazón, no sentirá el cansancio. La compañía de los santos le inspirará a viajar con esperanza y con fe. La certeza de que Dios siempre está cerca prestará fuerza a sus miembros. Recuerda que con cada paso te acercas a Dios; y también que Dios da diez pasos hacia ti cuando tú das uno hacia Él. Este viaje no tiene paradas; es una travesía continua, a través de lágrimas y sonrisas, a través del nacimiento y la muerte. Cuando el camino termina y se alcanza la meta, el peregrino halla que ha viajado sólo de sí mismo a sí mismo; que el Dios que buscaba estuvo todo el tiempo en sí mismo, con él, a su lado y a su alrededor.

Life is a long pilgrimage along the rough and torturous road of this world. But, with the Name of God on his lips, the pilgrim will know no thirst; with the Form of God in his heart, he will feel no exhaustion. The company of the holy will inspire him to travel in hope and faith. The assurance that God is ever near will lend strength to his limbs. Remember that with every step, you are nearing God; and God too, takes ten steps towards you when you take one step towards Him. This journey does not have any halts; it is one continuous journey, through tears and smiles, through birth and death. When the road ends, and the Goal is attained, the pilgrim finds that he has travelled only from himself to himself, that the God he sought was all the while in him, around him, with him, and beside him! He himself was always Divine.
